EDUCATIONAL TRIPS
A field trip is one of the best resources we employ at ICON GLOBAL to give every student real-world experiences. Each encounter a kid has broadens their perspective on the world, whether it is a trip to the neighborhood grocery store, a waterfront park, a library, a museum, a theater, a community garden, or a restaurant. Students make connections between what is happening in the classroom and the "real world" once they leave the classroom. They start to realize that what they learn in the classroom can directly influence who they become as people and can help them solve the problems they observe in the outside world.
SOCIAL OUTREACH
The ICON GLOBAL social experience program attempts to combine a thorough classroom teaching curriculum with a range of neighborhood-focused activities. The kids are provided several chances to interact with the community in a mutually beneficial manner.
ICON Global gives students the opportunity to get involved in community service projects and develop skills that will benefit the environment, society, and those who are less fortunate or disadvantaged while also empowering others.
SPORTS ACTIVITIES
There is more to education than what is taught in a classroom. In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle, sports foster teamwork and leadership skills.
Sports educate young minds how to play, overcome, and persevere. It enables them to comprehend others and bounce back from setbacks. The more people who participate, the more they will learn and be able to use that knowledge in their daily lives.
HOBBY ACTIVITIES
A student's life is greatly influenced by their interests. In a long, tiring day, students need a break from studies to unwind and forget about your worries so you can resume with a clearer head. That's when the hobbies for students can help them feel relaxed. This is also a great way to enhance students' overall personalities. Hobbies play an essential role in the life of a student. So, IGS imparts hobby activities in classrooms to relax the students.
COMPETITION
Competitions encourage pupils to perform well and flourish and provide many benefits beyond merely winning the award. Competitions give participants the chance to learn a lot, display their talents, assess and evaluate results, and discover their own ability. group discussion
In Icon Global school, Group Discussion(GD) is a comprehensive technique to improve the communication, Knowledge and Confidence of a child. GD assesses the overall personality – thoughts, feelings and behaviour - of an individual in a group. A topic is presented to the group members for discussion, which encourages the students to learn the topic thoroughly.
regular expo
An exhibition in a museum normally tells a story through objects, specimens, models, sounds, text, digital platforms, art, pictures and/or archival sources. A student-curated exhibition for your classroom or school would give great scope for object-based learning giving opportunities for students to investigate objects in ways that encourages collaboration, research, and discussion. In IGS, This would enable the continual development of creative thinking and strong analytical skills. Object-based learning also allows for cross-curricular learning and inquiry-based learning, and locally sourced objects would engage and form connections with the local community, and empower students supporting cultural diversity and heritage amongst peers.
public speaking
Public speaking, also called oration or oratory, is the process of communicating information to a live audience. In IGS, the type of information communicated is deliberately structured to inform, persuade, and entertain. Many students fear they suffer from a public speaking weakness and lack the will to master the skill. To overcome this, IGS conducts the classes every Saturday related to their subjects to develop the talking power in the students.
training for competitive exams
Competitive exams Training lays a solid foundation for various competitive exams for students. It covers key topics common to all competitive Exams. IGS students develop insightful understanding of these exams and can make them into a potential career avenue leading to fulfilling careers. As most of the syllabus for these exams is common, students can appear for various exams. They can make brilliant, rewarding careers while serving the nation. This preparation helps in various Olympiad competitive exams. This preparation develops their command of the English language, reasoning ability, critical thinking and quantitative ability needed to succeed in numerous other careers.
